Bay area Artist Evelyn Whaley is known for her Oil and Acrylic Paintings. Following an early retirement, she began to pursue a career as a professional Artist.

 

She first worked en plein aire, painting the regional landscapes and seascapes in Marin and Sonoma Counties, and then further afield in southern France. These oil, pastel, and acrylic works are painterly landscapes and seascapes with the focus on sky and water.  More recently, she has begun creating abstract works as well, inspired by the same passion for the natural world.  Evelyn is now selling and showing her works in the Bay area.

 

Evelyn holds a BFA in Fine Art and a Masters degree in Architecture from U.C. Berkeley.  Her career in Interior and Architectural Design, previous to painting,  took her around the world designing international resorts and hotels in the Pacific Rim, Europe, and the Middle East.
